Por ello, aunque se ha cotejado la traducci\u00f3n con la Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (para el Antiguo Testamento) y con el llamado \u201ctexto cr\u00edtico\u201d del Nuevo Testamento (Edici\u00f3n de Sociedades B\u00edblica Unidas), se ha evitado hacer correcciones de tipo textual. Sin embargo, en la \u201cedici\u00f3n de estudio\u201d se han incluido notas a pie de p\u00e1gina en las cuales se recogen las variantes textuales m\u00e1s relevantes que ofrecen los numerosos e important\u00edsimos descubrimientos de manuscritos antiguos, as\u00ed como algunas rese\u00f1as de cr\u00edtica textual.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo revisor siendo plenamente consciente de no estar realizando una nueva traducci\u00f3n, sino una revisi\u00f3n de un texto que goza de amplio reconocimiento y prestigio ha tenido siempre en cuenta la tradici\u00f3n textual Reina-Valera y, por ello, se ha ce\u00f1ido escrupulosamente a las opciones exeg\u00e9ticas originales. Solo se han realizado modificaciones en peque\u00f1os aspectos exeg\u00e9ticos que se han considerado necesarios por estimar que esas variaciones pod\u00edan aclarar o mejorar la compresi\u00f3n del texto. As\u00ed mismo, se ha adecuado el texto a la normativa gramatical y ortogr\u00e1fica vigentes.
